At Luminarflo, we collect and manage user data according to the following Privacy Policy. This document is part of Luminarflo’s Terms of Service, and by using a) luminarflo.com, b) luminarflo.design (the “Website”, “Websites”), you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service. Please read the Terms of Service in their entirety, and refer to those for definitions and contacts.
Personal Data Protection Act
Luminarflo will protect and respect your personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (the “PDPA”) and our personal data protection policy. By volunteering or providing your personal data to Luminarflo, it will be deemed that you have agreed and consented to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data by Luminarflo and its related entities in the manner described below. This policy describes how the Luminarflo entities and its representatives and/or agents (collectively, “Luminarflo”, “we”, “us”, “our” or similar expression) may collect, use, disclose and manage your personal data.
Collection, Use And Disclosure Of Personal Data
Luminarflo’s personal data protection policy applies to all individuals whose personal data is within Luminarflo’s possession or control. Personal data generally includes any data that can be used to identify a natural person, such as name, identification number or address, but excludes business contact information. If you have provided the personal data of another individual (such as a client), you agree that you have obtained his/her consent to Luminarflo’s collection, use and disclosure of his/her personal data according to Luminarflo’s personal data protection policy or that you validly give us such consent on their behalf. In accordance with the PDPA, we have processes and procedures in place to ensure that such personal data is collected, used and disclosed only for any purposes in which we have obtained your consent, for which you may be deemed to have provided consent or are reasonably related to the foregoing.
Data Collected
We collect data from every visitor of the Website to monitor traffic and fix bugs. For example, we collect information like web requests, the data sent in response to such requests, the Internet Protocol address, the browser type, the browser language, and a timestamp for the request.
We ask you to log in and provide certain personal information (such as your name and email address) in order to be able to save your profile and the contracts associated with it. In order to enable these or any other login based features, we use cookies to store session information for your convenience. You can block or delete cookies and still be able to use Luminarflo, although if you do you will then be asked for your username and password every time you log in to the Website. In order to take advantage of certain features of the Website, you may also choose to provide us with other personal information, such as your picture or personal website, but your decision to utilise these features and provide such data will always be voluntary.
You are able to view, change and remove your data associated with your profile. Should you choose to delete your account, please contact Luminarflo at [email protected] and we will follow up with your request as soon as possible.
Minors and children should not use Luminarflo. By using the Website, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
In addition to the data we collect through your direct use of the software, Luminarflo also integrates with third party applications to enhance the features it provides. Luminarflo doesn't collect or store any data from existing events nor does it change them.
Accuracy Of Personal Data
Luminarflo will keep personal data as accurate, complete and up to date, taking into account its use and the interests of our users and agents. Where possible, we will validate data provided using accepted practices and guidelines. This might include a request to see original documentation before we use the personal data such as data with personal identifiers and/or proof of address.
Protection Of Personal Data
Luminarflo protects personal data against loss or theft, as well as unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification with security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the personal data, regardless of the format in which it is held.
Use of the Data
We only use your personal information to provide you the Luminarflo services or to communicate with you about the services or the Website.
With respect to any contracts you create via Luminarflo, we take the privacy and confidentiality of such contracts seriously.

We do not share personal information you have provided to us without your consent, unless:

Luminarflo is operated from Singapore. If you are visiting the Website from outside Singapore, you agree to any processing of any personal information you provide us according to this policy.
Luminarflo may contact you, by email or other means. For example, Luminarflo may send you promotional emails relating to Luminarflo or other third parties Luminarflo feels you would be interested in, or communicate with you about your use of the Luminarflo website. Luminarflo may also use technology to alert us via a confirmation email when you open an email from us. You can modify your email notification preferences by clicking the appropriate link included in the footer of email notifications. If you do not want to receive email from Luminarflo, please opt out of receiving emails at the bottom of any Luminarflo emails or by editing your profile preferences.
Sharing of Data
Luminarflo uses a variety of third party services to run and improve its services. These third party services rely on the data generated from activity on this website. Below are the third party services that we use:
- Google Analytics for understanding user behaviour
- MailerLite for sending promotional and marketing emails to our users
- MailerSend for sending transactional emails to our users
- Stripe for managing subscription payments
- Amazon Web Services for hosting of data
We employ and contract with people and other entities that perform certain tasks on our behalf and who are under our control (our “Agents”). We may need to share personal information with our Agents in order to provide products or services to you. Unless we tell you differently, our Agents do not have any right to use Personal Information or other information we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us. You hereby consent to our sharing of Personal Information with our Agents.
We may choose to buy or sell assets. In these types of transactions, user information is typically one of the transferred business assets. Moreover, if we, or substantially all of our assets, were acquired, or if we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of us or our assets may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.
Retention of Personal Data
Luminarflo will retain your personal data only for as long as the purposes for which such data is collected or used (as notified to you) continues, or where necessary for our legal or business purposes. Thereafter, Luminarflo will delete or destroy the personal data, or remove the data that can be associated with you.
User Access Request
Users have the right to understand what data is being used and how it is being used. You can receive this information by submitting a request to the team at [email protected]. The information you will receive will include:
- What personal information pertaining to the user is being processed
- Why this information is being processed
- Who has access to this personal information about the user
- How this personal information is being used in automated decisions
- What processes are using this information
Withdrawal of Consent
You have the right to withdraw any consent that you have given to us. Please let us have any notice of withdrawal in writing, indicating your instructions clearly. If you withdraw your consent for the collection, use or disclosure of your personal data, we will put the withdrawal into effect within 30 working days of your request. Luminarflo may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. If we make major changes in the way we collect or use information, we will notify you by posting an announcement on the Website or sending you an email. A user is bound by any changes to the Privacy Policy when he or she uses the Services after such changes have been first posted.
